DESIGN CHALLENGES
I love challenging myself and finding ways to improve user experiences. It keeps me on my toes and keeps the creativity and inspiration flowing.
Here you'll find some more self-guided designs for solutions to problems I personally have come across. It helps me exercise my creativity and design skills.
Feel free to ask me about my designs or leave feedback. I’m always looking for ways to improve!

This is just a quick redesign in just a few minutes on Sketch, so there's plenty of room for improvement but just wanted to play with my idea a little further.

This is a redesign I did of a device I saw on an LinkedIn post.
However one concern was the handles on the outside of the device.
My concern was that the force of the water hitting the survivors hands and arms wraped around the outside might push the hands off. Especially if they are fatigued from treading water, young children, or have short arm lengths. This problem inspired me to do a redesign. As I did other ideas came to mind.
~ Handlebars on the inside for improved safety, better ergonomics, and stronger grip.
~ Light and Video Camera with Heat and/or Night Vision For Night Search &
Rescue.
~ A one-way (or two-way) radio can also be very helpful:
- To communicate instructions and re-ensure and calm them.
- To call out to the victim so they know rescue is on the way.
- (with a two-way radio) the victim can call out so the device can find them easier.
~ Holes in the inner grips to add straps for wrist wraps or strap a body harness to better support fatigued survivor's (accessory add-ons)
~ First Aid compartment and even for a flare gun (Shown onn the right redesign)
~ A longer grip on each side will make it easier for people on a boat to reach out and grab if the victim isn't able to pul themselves to the boat. Or for adding another person or for lifeguard assistance,
I'm just trying to think of every possible scenario the victim might be dealing with.

I love traveling and I love flying, but I hate feeling lost when transferring from one flight to another with only a few minutes to get to my boarding gate.
Whats worse is when you sprint across the airport like a maniac to realize you were going in the wrong direction.
Or you have a 2 hour layover and you're laptop battery is low, you need a bite to eat, some coffee, and gift shop in the direction of your gate.
AR-Port is your Augmented Reality Airport Map that will locate them all for you, near your gate, to save you time getting around the airport.
I literally designed this while waiting for my flight.

As a musician and composer, I'm always trying to find ways to improve my skills and the tools I use to learn and make music.
Here's a UI for leaning and practicing playing over chord changes. What's makes this one different from all the other ones?
You can customize how it looks and you can see the scale you are playing now and the one that's coming up next. Which is vital in real performance.
I'll be posting more UIs soon meanwhile enjoy my other work posted below.
